How to Manually Upload Assets to Your Project
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for manually uploading files to your Artstash project. You can upload assets directly from your computer, via drag-and-drop, or from a connected Google Drive account, giving you the flexibility to add content from anywhere.
Step-by-Step Guide to Uploading an Asset
1. Navigate to Your Project
First, ensure you are inside the correct project where you want the assets to be stored.
2. Locate the Upload Area
Click the tile labeled “Upload files into project.” This will open the upload interface.
3. Choose Your Upload Method
You have three options for uploading your files:
- Upload from your computer: Click the "Upload" button to open your computer's file browser and select the files you wish to add.
- Drag and Drop: Simply drag files from a folder on your computer and drop them directly into the upload area.
- Upload from Google Drive: Click this option to connect to your Google Drive and select files from your cloud storage.
4. Upload Your Files
In this example, we’ll use the drag-and-drop method.
- Drag the file from your desktop or a folder into the designated upload area.
- The upload will begin automatically, and you will see a progress indicator.
5. Confirm Upload Completion
Once the process is finished, a "Done" confirmation will appear. Your file has now been successfully uploaded to your Artstash project and is ready for use.
