Getting started with tagging in Artstash

Manual Tagging
- Upload or Select Asset:
- Upload assets from your device or select an existing asset in Artstash.
- Access Tagging Options:
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the asset overview.
- Alternatively, navigate to the asset information section called "Tags."
- Add Tags:
- Enter the desired tags manually in the provided field.
- Save the changes to apply the tags to the asset.
- Multi-Tagging:
- Go to the search view.
- Select multiple assets by clicking the selection button.
- Click on the three dots in the top-right corner and choose the “# Tag” option.
- Enter the desired tag name for the selected assets.

Automated Tagging
Artstash automatically generates tags for assets being added or updated. Here’s how it works:
- Upload Process: When you upload a zip file containing assets and folders, each asset is automatically tagged with a tag-friendly version of the folder names it’s in.
- Auto-Tagging by Folder Name: Assets which are synced from sources such as Git, Google Drive or Perforce are auto-tagged based on their respective folders, creating a more efficient and organized tagging system.
- AI-based tagging: Artstash uses AI to review all incoming assets, including key frames from videos and 360 views of 3D models to generate relevant tags making it easier to find content.
How to Filter for Tags in Search in Artstash
- Log in to your workspace.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner to open the search bar.
- Type in the keyword for the assets you are looking for. For example, entering "psd" will list assets containing "psd" in their title.
- Add a Tag Filter:
- Select the “Tag” option from the filter menu.
- Add new tag names to the list or choose from the provided keywords by clicking the checkboxes.
- You can search for tags using specific keywords.
- Enable 'All' to see assets with all the selected tags or 'Any' to see assets with at least one of the selected tags.
